Do you provide the Christmas lights?
Yes. Southlake provides the professional-grade lighting and materials used as part of your installation. You don't need to purchase boxes of lights before your appointment.
What happens if one of my Christmas lights goes out?
Season-long maintenance is included at no additional charge. If a bulb goes out or part of your display needs attention, contact us and we'll take care of it.
When do you begin installing Christmas lights?
Our installation season begins in late September and continues through early December. Booking earlier generally gives you the best selection of installation dates.
Is September too early to install Christmas lights?
Not at all. Installing earlier lets you reserve your preferred date before the busiest part of the season. Your lights don't need to be turned on immediately just because they've been installed.
When will my Christmas lights be taken down?
Takedowns begin in January. We'll return after the holiday season to professionally remove the display so you don't have to climb a ladder or spend another weekend taking decorations down.
Do you store the lights after Christmas?
Yes. After takedown, we store your Christmas lighting and décor in our temperature-controlled storage facility until the following season.
What types of Christmas lighting can you install?
Displays can incorporate rooflines and ridgelines, trees, bushes and shrubs, wreaths, garland and greenery, columns, railings, pathways, driveways, ground lighting and other outdoor areas.
Can you create a simple, classic Christmas display?
Absolutely. More isn't always better. A clean roofline, a beautiful wreath and a few carefully selected landscape elements can create an elegant finished display.
Do you install Christmas lights for commercial properties?
Yes. While our service is primarily focused on residential properties, Southlake can also provide professional holiday lighting for select commercial properties, community entrances, HOAs and other properties in the Charlotte and Lake Norman area.
How much does professional Christmas light installation cost?
Every property and display is different, so we provide customized quotes rather than one-size-fits-all pricing. Roofline, property layout, landscaping, lighting selections, greenery and overall design can all affect the project.
